She holds a PhD in Cereal Science from North Dakota State University and has led research on the structure, functionality, and nutrition of pulse proteins, as well as marine-derived functional ingredients. She co-led the development and application of microencapsulated carotenoid and vitamin products at a leading Asian manufacturer of Vitamins. Liuyi brings deep technical expertise in plant-based and microencapsulated ingredients, proven experience translating cutting-edge food science into scalable products, and strong bilingual communication skills that help connect global partners, customers, and internal teams.
